Black Holes: Monsters of Our Universe

A massive compacted astronomical object so dense, that the gravitational pull of it is so strong that not even light can escape it. Imagine, the fastest thing in our universe also cannot escape its gravitational influence. Due to the fact that not even light cannot escape it, we are not able to get any kind of 100% accurate images of how black holes actually look like.
But, some recent photos show the images captured by our telescopes of a black hole by the name of Messier 87.

How are Black Holes Formed:-

Black Holes are created with a bang, literally. They are formed when massive stars go boom. This happens due to the fact that the star has no more nuclear fuel to continue burning. This results in their collapse undergoing the Supernova Explosion.
Another way these monsters are born are when a star (typically 8-10 times larger than Sun) exhaust fuel and can generate energy to oppose gravity. But, upon finishing of fuel, the star collapses into its own core. The collapse of such a large mass at a small point results in hight gravitational force, thus creating black holes.
The larger black holes start small just like the above reason, but as time passes by, they consume so much of everything around them, that many centuries later they are found to have grown in mass.

Why are they a Danger ?

Finding a Black Hole with just telescopes is like searching for an invisible enemy with your naked eyes. Exactly like this analogy, a black hole is invisible to us. They are
traced by their powerful gravitational forces and their ginormous masses. Some supermassive black holes even reach 500 million solar masses, that’s about 500 million times as the mass of that of our Sun. Their ability to not let photons escape makes them almost shrouded in light. The gravity at centre due to mass is said to be so strong that that is said to bend time. In simpler words, if you are on the edge of the black hole, time for you would slow down, you can see the universe develop in front of you.
But the worst thing that makes it so terrifying is that the end of you, if you get sucked by a black hole, will be nothing but brutal. You will be spaghettified, a process in which you would become like spaghetti just moments before your death.

Monsters though they are, they are some of the most intriguing things yet fully unexplored by humans, they have a ability to rouse our curiosity and take us
